Make these people pay for thier advertisement

I was on a free posting website called Craig list looking for non-profit organization that better our community.

I was in absolute shock and horror when I read the following:

The Sacramento Children's Home is private non-profit organization committed to preventing child abuse, caring for troubled children, enabling families to meet the needs of their children and helping children to become productive, responsible adults.

We are the Sacramento Children's Home, conquering child abuse in Northern California, creating a community for children and families that will be safe, nurturing and secure. We provide inspiration and leadership in the development of prevention services. We are innovative and bold; determined yet compassionate.

The Sacramento Children's Home stands as a model of excellence for the region and the nation.

This non-profit organization receives $2.2 million dollars from state foster care bureau monies and the Sacramento county general fund. Not to mention the grants that they receive for expanding their jail.

According to the center for social services research University of California at Berkeley. In Sacramento county, from January 1st, 2005 to December 31st, 2005 there were a total of 25,017 cases that were handled by Child protective services. 6,272 were substantiated, 6,173 were inconclusive and 7,888 were unfounded.

Cps workers are eager to remove children from the home due to the bonuses that they receive, this is regardless of whether or not, the children are being abused.

Children are taken to the Sacramento children's receiving home right after they are taken into protective custody. Yes, there are some children that are being abused but as you can see by the numbers more then half are not. So, it is clear that Sacramento children's receiving home does incarcerate and kidnap children. So how are they enabling families to meet the needs of their children, or help children become productive, responsible adults, (OMG are the children there that long?) and create a community that is safe, nurturing and secure?

Since the Sacramento Children's Receiving Home is not stating how they achieve this I doubt they are doing anything at all to help anyone. I encourage everyone to go to Craig's list and flag their post and have their posting removed from the site. And if possible, contact Craig's list and requested that the Sacramento children receiving home be prohibited from posting.

When CPS comes to your door

A neighbor, ex-spouse, or anyone that has a vendetta against you, can and often will turn you in to Child Protective Services.

If child protective services comes to your door and you cooperate with their demands, there is 40% chance that they will remove your child or children from your home. Even if there is no evidence of abuse, neglect, or sexual abuse.

Be calm and polite, but under no circumstance do you ever let a social worker into you home in without a warrant.

You are protected under the 4th amendment of the constitution. If you do, it could cost you your children and a long court battle. It is not uncommon for a cps worker to try to coerce you into believing that if you don't let them in they will take your children.

Since the social worker needs to gather evidence against you, they need "probable cause" before the can obtain a search warrant. The social worker is not working for the best interest of your children and has absolutely no interest in protecting the children.

In order to keep their job, a CPS worker must meet a quota. And if he or she able to remove your children they will receive bonuses of from $4,000 to $6,000 per child. A CPS worker will lie and do what ever is necessary to kidnap your children even if they have to remove your children illegally.

Remember to...

  • Be prepared have a tape or video recorder keep it on hand to record any and all conversations that you have with CPS.
  • Get a copy of child welfare policy manual for your state.
  • Join a cps reform support group.
  • If your children are enrolled in a public school temporally remove your children the until you are no longer in danger.
  • Research state and federal laws as they pertain to your situation.
  • And last but not least ask what the accusations are being alleged against you.

CPS might not go away as soon as you shut the door in their face. So go to your family physician get a physical for your children do not tell the doctor the reason for the visit, because they are also mandated reporters.

Get a copy of the medical records, be sure to black out any detailing information. Get declarations from friends, family, coworkers or a church members stating what a wonderful parent you are. And if the situation calls for it go to a trusted mental health professional for evaluation of yourself and your children.

Send all these documents to cps and request that the case be closed since there is nothing to investigate.

A popular magazine

Why do women get flustered when there significant other reads playboy. Because it sets the idealism for a woman that can not be achieved. In turn, making the woman feel inadequate, betrayed, devalued, deceived, and unable to fulfill her significant other desires.

Of course many men are quoted saying that he only reads this magazine for the articles. But how can a woman feel her best when she feels that she is consistently competing. And at the same time is being reduced to the sum of her body parts.

We women have one very popular man to thank. Polygamist and porn pimp Hugh Heffner. Heffner published the first issue of Playboy magazine in December 1953. Hefner has consistently and consciously infected society with his noxious ideal of sexual hedonism.

As Hefner has been quoted, "If you had to sum up the idea of Playboy, it is antipuritanism. Not just in regard to sex, but the whole range of play and pleasure."

Within a year of Playboy being published, Hefner was able to fulfill his sick fantasy. Beside working on his magazine he spent most of his time hunting for vulnerable young females who worked for, or posed for the magazine. Hefner believes that there should be absolutely no boundaries in the pursuit of pleasure. Even if it includes child porn.

According to Dr. Judith Reisman, founder of The Institute for Media Education, Playboy began featuring cartoons about incest in 1954. "Child sex abuse in 'humor' was systemic in Playboy. Before our research findings were released in 1985, Playboy averaged eight images of children (cartoons and illustrations) in each magazine, most of these sexual in tone," Playboy magazine featured adult-child sex.

In recent years some academicians have touted Playboy's idea as healthy. In fact his idea's are so acceptable and healthy that in 1998, Hefner was inducted into the American Society of Magazine Editors Hall of Fame. Conclusion Playboy objectifies women as mere sex toys nothing more.

America the greatest country in the world?

I have heard people say over and over, America is the best place in the world to live. Well according to statistics I think their wrong.

U.S. ranking on health care: source world health organization

Japan # 1
U.S. # 37

All these deaths per year:

  • 12,000 unnecessary surgery
  • 7,000 medication errors in hospitals
  • 20,000 other errors in hospitals
  • 80,000 infections in hospitals
  • 106,000 non-error, negative effects of drugs

225,000 deaths per year constitutes the third leading cause of death in the United States, after deaths from heart disease and cancer. Even if these figures are overestimated, there is a wide margin between these numbers of deaths and the next leading cause of death (cerebrovascular disease).

Another analysis concluded that between 4% and 18% of consecutive patients experience negative effects in outpatient settings with:

  • 116 million extra physician visits
  • 77 million extra prescriptions
  • 17 million emergency department visits
  • 8 million hospitalizations
  • 3 million long-term admissions
  • 199,000 additional deaths
  • $77 billion in extra costs

The high cost of the health care system is considered to be a deficit, but seems to be tolerated under the assumption that better health results from more expensive care.

However, evidence from a few studies indicates that as many as 20% to 30% of patients receive inappropriate care.

An estimated 44,000 to 98,000 among them die each year as a result of medical errors.

Of 13 countries in a recent comparison, the United States ranks an average of 12th (second from the bottom) for 16 available health indicators. More specifically, the ranking of the US on several indicators was:

  • 13th (dead last) for low-birth-weight percentages
  • 13th for neonatal mortality and infant mortality overall
  • 11th for postneonatal mortality
  • 13th for years of potential life lost (excluding external causes)
  • 11th for life expectancy at 1 year for females, 12th for males
  • 10th for life expectancy at 15 years for females, 12th for males
  • 10th for life expectancy at 40 years for females, 9th for males
  • 7th for life expectancy at 65 years for females, 7th for males
  • 3rd for life expectancy at 80 years for females, 3rd for males
  • 10th for age-adjusted mortality

The poor performance of the US was recently confirmed by a World Health Organization study, which used different data and ranked the United States 37th place.

There is a perception that the American public "behaves badly" by smoking, drinking, and perpetrating violence." However the data does not support this assertion.

The proportion of females who smoke ranges from 14% in Japan to 41% in Denmark in the United States, it is 24%. For males, the range is from 26% in Sweden to 61% in Japan, it is 28% in the United States (third best).

The US ranks fifth best for alcoholic beverage consumption.

The US has relatively low consumption of animal fats (fifth lowest in men aged 55-64 years in 20 industrialized countries) and the third lowest mean cholesterol concentrations among men aged 50 to 70 years among 13 industrialized countries. These estimates of death due to error are lower than those in a recent Institute of Medicine report, and if the higher estimates are used, the deaths due to iatrogenic causes would range from 230,000 to 284,000.

Lack of technology is certainly not a contributing factor to the US's low ranking.

Among 29 countries, the United States is second only to Japan in the availability of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) units and computed tomography scanners per million population. Japan, however, ranks highest on health, whereas the US ranks among the lowest.

U.S. ranking on foreign Aid: Source University of Maryland.

Denmark # 1
U.S. # 22 (dead last)

A recent poll by the program for international policy attitudes at the university of Maryland showed that most Americans still believe that 20% of the federal budget goes to foreign aid, But in reality less then 1% of the budget goes to foreign aid. Denmark contributes 10 times as much of it's national income as American taxpayers do. And Japan is the largest provider of official development assistance for 10 consecutive years.

Prisons: source OCED

When comparing prison populations in 2000, The united states again stands far above the norm with a incarceration rate five times a high as the OCED average and three times larger then Czech republic, Ranking second.
